Today's featured shit

I am in Alameda, and as much as I would like to do an on-location episode here, I am missing too many things. I’ll do one in the evening when I get home.

So because of the blown fuse, I had to upload today’s episode at work. Normally I get about 75-80k when I upload at home, but at work it was 10 times that! With rates that fast I should start uploading my own porn.

I can’t find the cable that connects my camera to the laptop. I left it where I always do, so perhaps Savannah has done something with it. Now I must go to Fry’s and try to get another one. Great.

Starting tomorrow I can return to the classic format of the Joel Shit Show Featuring Joel Shit. In just four short months we may have another election, and then we can do this all over again. In the meantime, I need to go find three minutes’ worth of exciting things to do today so I can talk about them tomorrow.

Because of the election coverage, the tidbits of shit that I save up for my show are now going to be dispensed old-school style, via written posts. So look for lots more random shit, and after I’ve done all the things on my ballot, I will go back to saving them for the show.

I have my ThinkPad again, but now I am at work. I’ll work on it tonight. For now, just know that everything is fine, or at least as far as I know. After reading 1,000 e-mails I may have a different opinion of that.

I am going to be on the road until Sunday night. There will still be episodes of the Joel Shit Show, but they will be backdated.

So this audio video thing stinks. I have downloaded the upload client for Google Videos and am uploading the pilot episode now. I will fix the link on the main page for Google Videos, and hopefully that will be the way to go from here. If the problem persists on Google Videos, I will truly be confused.

I need to get to the gym before an 11 a.m. meeting, and I don’t have the half hour I need to upload it. I have to take my roommate to the airport this afternoon, so I will take care of it after that.
