San Jose sharks must help me so I need the Sharks to win because they provide an excellent reason to leave work early, to work from home, to do other things and granted it just means that I have to work twice as hard the following day, but there is still not substitute for that feeling you get of leaving work early. Or shutting the computer down at home a little bit early because you know you are going to go do something else, it is a strange thing, the opposite of credit cards. Where you borrow some money and you pay back more later and you feel bad about it, but when you leave work early, sure, you go back to work the next day for more time to make up for it, but you feel good about it as if you have somehow beat the system, even though really the system is still beating. listen

It’s a left turn into my driveway, the driveway at work for Cryo(?) is a left turn because of the way that I come to work and this means that everyone making that left turn is doing the same thing going to work. I never enjoy unprotected left turns because people are really chicken shit about it and they will sit there and they will wait, and they will wait for that huge opening. In the meantime seven cars are lined up behind and they are all waiting, but you can’t honk your horn even if you do know who it is because then you have to deal with the awkward tension that comes with working with them, it’s the worst feeling in the world. listen
