Luis Castillo can get you some safe at bats down the stretch. Rate stats are won and lost the final month of the season, and if you have comfortable leads in the counting stats categories, you want a hitter who is going to keep your average up. That’s Castillo.
Pedro Martinez is motivated. If you need someone to replace Tim Lincecum, he could be your guy. Clay Buchholz is another guy to consider, but remember that his most recent start was against the Orioles. Wade Davis is a good choice, especially in keeper leagues.
